Abstract: In a high mobility job market, accumulated historical sequences information from persons and jobs bring opportunities and challenges to person-job matching recommendation, where the latent preferences may significantly determine the success of person-job matching. Moreover, the sparse labels further limit the learning performance of recommendation methods. To this end, we propose a novel serialized knowledge enhancement multiobjective person-job matching recommendation method, namely SMP-JM. The key idea is to design a serialized multi-objective method from "intentiondelivery-review", which effectively solves the problem of sparsity through the transmission of information and the serialization constraints between objectives. Specifically, we design various attention modules, such as self-attention, cross-attention and an orthogonal multi-head attention, to identify correlations between diversified features. Furthermore, a multi-granularity convolutional filtering module is design to extract personal latent preference from the historical sequential behaviors. Finally, the experimental results on a real-world dataset validate the performance of SMP-JM over the baseline methods. Collapse

Abstract: Person-job matching is a typical dynamic process with bilateral interactions between job seekers and jobs, along with sample imbalance issues. These characteristics pose significant challenges when designing an intelligent person-job match method. In this paper, we propose a novel process-oriented view of the person-job matching problem and formulate it as a multi-step multi-objective bilateral match learning problem. Our method combines profile features and historical sequential behaviors to learn the bilateral attributes and dynamic preferences, with multimodal data integrated through various attention mechanisms, such as the orthogonal multi-head and gated mechanisms. The method includes a sequence update module to learn the bilateral preferences and their updates sensitive to feedback. Furthermore, the multi-step constraint effectively solves the problem of imbalanced samples through partial relationships and information transmission between multi-objectives. Abundant experiments show that our method outperforms state-of-the-art methods in providing successful matches and improving recruitment efficiency. Collapse

Abstract: Information technology brings business success opportunities, but also causes potential safety hazards to orga­ nizations. In response to the increasing academia and industry concerns regarding information security (ISec), this study systematically explored extant ISec research and identified eight core knowledge groups, including (1) intrusion detection, (2) privacy protection, (3) secure machine learning, (4) cryptosystem, (5) data service se­ curity, (6) malware analysis, (7) security decision-making, and (8) security management. Abstract: The widespread use of media streaming services has resulted in a surge in network traffic, triggering debates on network usage fees between Internet service providers (ISPs) and content providers (CPs). As a response to network usage fees imposed by ISPs, CPs have opted to provide discriminatory service quality as a means of mitigating costs associated with high traffic volume. In 2022, a leading Korean ISP charged discriminatory network usage fees to Twitch TV, the media streaming platform, due to its excessive network traffic. In response, Twitch implemented a discriminatory service quality reduction policy. Our study examines the impact of this policy on the streaming platform ecosystem. Our results indicate that the implementation of the service quality reduction led to a remarkable decline in the number of viewers, which then resulted in adverse effects for streamers. This study contributes to the literature on network neutrality violation by offering empirical evidence. Collapse

Abstract: The goal of the current paper is to examine the impact of blockchain technology adoption on an organization's business process innovation. Blockchain technology has been widely acknowledged for its usefulness in securing business transactions and benefits from decentralization and transparency. While blockchain implementation has notable advantages in a business process, such outcomes also rely on the nature of the business. Our research employed two theoretical concepts to measure blockchain adoption and its impact on an organization's business process innovation: technological, organizational, and environmental (TOE) framework and task-technology fit. We specified hypotheses and tested them using survey responses. A total of 419 responses were collected and we analyzed them using partial least squares (PLS). Abstract: Rapid developments in real-time collaborative technologies, coupled with the quest for innovation and creativity, have made global virtual teams (GVTs) a viable workplace collaboration option that many companies are turning to. Although diverse team member perspectives in GVTs are expected to foster creativity, cultural diversity within GVTs also poses significant challenges related to knowledge exchange and integration among team members. Grounding our work in the team adaptation and cultural intelligence (CQ) literatures, we suggest CQ as a plausible modality for cultural adaptation in GVTs. Specifically, we propose a nomological network comprising CQ dimensions (motivation, cognition, metacognition, and behavior) serving as a cultural adaptation mechanism for fostering creativity in GVT outcomes. We contextualize and extend CQ theory, which has previously focused on face-to-face contexts, to the virtual collaborative GVT environment. For this, we conceptualize the significant role of deep-level implicitly negotiated adaptative behavior (role structure adaptation) in GVTs-in addition to surface-level explicitly displayed adaptative behavior (CQ behavior). We tested the proposed model through a sequential mixed methods approach that integrated the results from a quantitative two-wave survey study with findings from a qualitative study comprising expert interviews, to arrive at rich and robust inferences and metainferences. The proposed CQ-for-GVT framework, along with delineated boundary conditions and associated propositions, explicates an integrative model explaining the role of CQ for GVT creativity performance. The delineated model not only has theoretical implications but also provides useful directions for GVT practitioners. Collapse

Abstract: Despite the economic and societal significance of microbusinesses (MBs), digital transformation (DT) efforts in the MB sector have been rather sporadic. Further, prior DT studies have primarily examined large- and mid-sized organisations, leaving a perceptible void in the literature. In this paper, we leverage the unique context of MBs and recognise the key role of microbusiness owner-managers (MBOMs) for the management and sustenance of DT initiatives. Specifically, we theorise the influence of MBOMs’ DT readiness in terms of their growth and technology mindsets contributing to their DT learning resources and processes. Drawing on qualitative data from a series of structured interviews and focus groups with MBOMs and other key stakeholders in the Irish MB digital ecosystem, we identity three MBOM digital transformer archetypes comprising unique configurations of MBOMs’ growth and technology mindsets, namely: champion digital transformers, emerging digital transformers, and aspiring digital transformers. For each of these archetypes, we explore the different learning capabilities and mechanisms through which MBOMs manage and sustain their digital transformation efforts. Our findings offer theoretical contributions to the fields of digital transformation in microbusinesses, digital leadership, and digital capabilities. Abstract: Organisations are increasingly practising Business analytics (BA) to make data-driven business decisions amidst environmental complexities and fierce global competition. However, organisations find it challenging to operationalise BA outputs (such as analytical models, reports, and visualization) primarily due to a lack of (a) integrated technology, (b) collaboration and (c) governance. These factors inhibit organisations' ability to make data-driven decisions in an agile manner. Embedded analytics, an emerging BA practice, has the potential to address these issues by integrating BA outputs into business applications and workflows, thereby promoting the culture of data-driven decision-making. In this research-in-progress paper, we integrate the diverse areas of literature on BA, embedded analytics, and dynamic capabilities theory and propose a research model that links embedded analytics to decision-making agility through the development of dynamic capabilities.
